Temporary suspension of "Visa on Arrival system"
We came to know that with effect from 1st September 2010 onwards, Visa on Arrival system would be temporary suspended so that the tourists are obliged to apply Visa at the Myanmar Embassy of each respective countries or apply visa by \"Old Visa on Arrival system\" through the local travel agency prior to departure to Myanmar.

To apply Visa in advance through the local travel agency and get a permission from the authority, then the tourist can get a Visa stamp at the Yangon / Mandalay International Airport.
